Description

This class is designed for adult improvers who would like to improve their tactical skill in chess. You are encouraged to take this class even if you have taken it previously, as different material will be used. You will study examples on themes such as Elimination of the Defense, Double Attack, Discovered Attack, Skewer, Pin, Trapping a Piece, Promotion, and Drawing. At the end of each class, you will practice what you learned in training games with peers. Taught by PMCA instructor and National Master Jordan Groff.

Suggested book: The Chess Tactics Workbook, 5th Edition, Paperback– January 1, 2021, can be purchased online or in class by Al Woolum (Author). The cost if purchased at PMCA is $14.95, plus tax
